In the first phase of the crop debt waiver program, announced by the Chief Minister at the Secretariat on July 18, farmers’ crop loans up to Rs 1 lakh were waived. The government released Rs 6,098 crore to waive loans for nearly 11 lakh farmers. Now, the second phase is set to begin. Due to the immense popularity of the first phase, the government is launching the 2nd list of Rythu Runa Mafi for farmers’ benefit.
Only farmers whose names are on this list will be eligible for the second phase’s benefits. The Telangana state government will forgive a total of INR 1.5 lakh in outstanding loans for each farmer. You must adhere to the following steps to verify the Rythu Runa Mafi Status using the PFMS portal:
- To check the Rythu Runa Mafi’s status, you must first visit the PFMS Portal.
- The homepage of the website will appear on the screen.
- The “Know your payment option” link on the homepage is now what you need to click.
- A new page will appear on the screen.
- Now enter all of the information, including the account number and bank, into the application form.
- An OTP will be sent to the registered cell phone number. Once the OTP has been entered into the appropriate area, click “Submit.”
