Eligibility Criteria for KMRL Recruitment 2024
1. Assistant Manager (Public Relations) – E2 Level
KMRL is looking for a Corporate Communications/Public Relations professional to join their team. This is a regular position with attractive pay and responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Position: Assistant Manager (Public Relations)
- Grade: E2 (IDA)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a full-time regular graduation degree in any discipline. Additionally, they should have completed a 2-year full-time Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations, preferably in a government or PSU organization. Candidates should have hands-on experience handling press & media, organizing press conferences, and liaising with local government bodies.
- Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam are mandatory. Candidates should have experience in creating content, handling press releases, managing social media, and building corporate image across digital platforms.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 35 years (as of 1st September 2024). Age relaxation is applicable as per reservation rules.
2. Assistant Manager/Manager (Safety) – E2/E3 Level
For those experienced in safety management, particularly in the construction and metro sectors, KMRL offers an exciting opportunity to work on their Phase II project.
Job Details:
- Position: Assistant Manager (Safety) or Manager (Safety)
- Grade:
- Assistant Manager (Safety): E2 (₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000)
- Manager (Safety): E3 (₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000)
- Type: Contract-based for 3 years, extendable by 2 years based on performance.
KMRL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria :
- Educational Qualification:
- Full-time M.Tech/M.E in Fire & Safety or Safety from a recognized institution, or
- Full-time B.Tech/B.E in any branch of engineering with a 1-year PG Diploma in Safety or NEBOSH Diploma, or
- Full-time B.Tech/B.E in Fire & Safety Engineering.
- Experience:
- Manager: Minimum 7 years of experience, with 3 years in the metro rail construction sector.
- Assistant Manager: Minimum 5 years of experience, with 2 years in the metro rail construction sector.
- Responsibilities: The role involves designing and implementing safety measures at construction sites, ensuring safety compliance, and monitoring safety standards.

- Manager: 40 years (as of 1st September 2024). Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Salary Details:
