The Jharkhand government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has introduced the Jharkhand 1000 Rupees Scheme for Women, which provides Rs 1,000 per month to 50 lakh eligible women. The application process initially began on August 3 and was scheduled to end on August 10. However, on Monday, the Chief Minister announced that special enrolment camps for the government’s comprehensive financial support program for women will now continue until August 15. This extension was granted in response to technical difficulties that many women beneficiaries encountered while attempting to register online at Pragya Kendras in various parts of the state.
